Original identity
The PickPackPic logo was supplied by the website owner. Travel illustrations are decorative editorial artwork, not photographs of bookable experiences. Actual tour images must be uploaded by the host with the necessary rights.
Bundled destination directory
The launch directory contains a curated collection of major cities and travel destinations, supplemented with remaining capital or administrative-centre names from the countryinfo dataset. Country and territory identifiers are based on the installed pycountry / ISO data snapshot. The directory is not a claim that every settlement in the world is included, that a tour is available, or that travel is currently advisable.
Names and country or territory associations are for directory navigation, not statements about sovereignty or recognition. The application includes an XK entry as a practical directory code for Kosovo; XK is not an assigned ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code. Administrators can correct or expand entries.
Optional GeoNames worldwide import
The supplied importer downloads the GeoNames cities15000 dataset from the official export service. GeoNames data is available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Preserve the GeoNames attribution after importing, including when presenting the data in a mobile application. The initial curated directory is not falsely presented as a completed GeoNames import.
Time zones
The timezone alias file uses Unicode CLDR mappings distributed with Babel plus explicitly identified IANA-to-Windows aliases. Server timezone rules come from the operating system. Hosts must confirm the correct local departure timezone; keep Windows timezone updates current.
