Scope and operator
This notice describes the delivered PickPackPic service. The platform operator's completed business details and contact appear below. The operator must review this text against its actual processing, service providers and applicable requirements before launch.
Information used to provide the service
Account details include your name, email, account role, password hash, verification status and consent choices. Host profiles contain the professional details you choose to provide. Tour records, booking requests, agreed booking terms, messages, uploaded media, reviews and articles support the marketplace workflow.
Private verification documents
Hosts may upload a relevant licence or business document for administrative review. These files are stored outside public media paths. They are accessible only to the uploading account and authorized administrators through an authenticated download. Do not upload unnecessary identity information or payment-card data. The operator must define and follow an appropriate document-retention schedule.
Payments
Payment-card details are entered on the payment processor's checkout, not stored by this application. The platform stores processor references, order status, amounts, subscription periods and refund records. Direct payments to a host are handled outside the platform's payment system.
Public and private information
Approved host profiles, published tours, published reviews and published journal contributions are public. Dashboard information and conversations are restricted by account permissions. Administrators access information required for support, moderation, billing and operation. Private exports are available in Account settings.
Operational records
Rate-limiting and audit records use a salted hash of the requesting IP address. That hash can still be personal or pseudonymous information; it is not described as guaranteed anonymous. The web host or reverse proxy may retain its own server logs. The operator must document those additional logs and their retention.
Communications and choices
Transactional emails cover verification, password resets and service activity. The newsletter uses a separate confirmation process. You may unsubscribe through its email link. Account marketing preferences are editable in Account settings. Contact support for correction, access, account closure or deletion requests; necessary records may be retained for contractual, security or legal purposes where applicable.
Retention and service providers
The operator must document its actual retention periods, hosting location, international transfers and processors, including hosting, email and payments. Successful queued-message bodies are removed after delivery, expired rate-limit entries and authentication tokens are cleaned by the maintenance job, and old delivered-mail queue records are periodically removed. Other data is not automatically erased by a general age rule.

Destination photographs & external requests
Curated destination photographs are requested from this website. Public pages display installed local photographs or labeled bundled artwork. The site operator can separately request registered photographs from Unsplash or Wikimedia through the administration download tool and store resized JPEGs locally. These server requests do not forward your browser cookies, IP address or account details to the image source. Visiting an original-source or license link opens the external website, which then receives normal browser request information. A local editorial illustration is displayed if a destination photograph is unavailable.

Website analytics and your choice
With your permission, we measure public pages viewed, approximate visit sessions, the referring website domain, browser type, device category and browser language. We do not store IP addresses, account identifiers or URL query strings in these analytics tables. A visit is an activity session, not proof of a unique individual. Known bots, administrator sessions, private pages and demo detail pages are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honored.
Optional analytics are disabled until accepted by default. You may change your choice below. A preference cookie is kept for six months. Analytics records are retained for 90 days and removed by the scheduled maintenance process. Essential session cookies are still used for security, accounts and forms. Web-server/security logs maintained by the hosting provider are separate and may contain technical request data.
Messages, support and notifications
Registration, verification, booking and moderation messages may be sent through our configured email provider. The platform owner receives registration and booking notifications needed to operate the service. Email acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Traveler–host conversations are visible to their participants. Authorized administrators may review a conversation for a legitimate support, safety or moderation reason. The reason and access are audited. Support requests and administrator replies are kept in the support inbox. Never put payment-card details, passwords or identity documents in a conversation.
Contact the platform operator for questions, a privacy request or account deletion. Retention and disclosure obligations must be reviewed for the operator’s jurisdiction before launch.
